Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is the child of an Russian Indian mother as well as a Hindu Afghan father. She has a good command of German Russian English. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian and Indian. At the age of 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance which resulted in a German TV appearance. Her performance featured a Russian-born snow maiden that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. The girl graduated high school at the age of 11 in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following the high school year, she took classes in acting at HB however she opted to improvise at Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and Russian-speaking mom Olga. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13, and is now starring along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television performance. She also had recurring roles on The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
